[TheForge] Health Insurance -- Making a living...

I just talked to Clare Yellin, the ABANA Insurance person. She said pretty
much the same thing. Clare said, (and I am paraphrasing) To administer such
a program would require a full time staff of at least two people. ABANA is a
relatively small volunteer organization that charges a minimal fee for dues.
This is not a task for a volunteer organization.
She gets her health ins. through AIA (American Institute of
Architects).  To get the insurance she has to be an affiliate member.  The
annual dues are $300.00. She said that $224/mo is cheap.
Clare says that if anyone on TheForge is an insurance broker/ administrator
of group plans, get in touch with her.
