I recently did a gate that was 4' wide and 7' tall.
The background was basically 6 big scrolls. Each
scroll required 9' of material. (too long to work with)
I cut the 9' into three pieces, the cuts were made in a
place where the scrolls would be touching another
scroll or the frame so that the weld could be easily
blended & or collared.
