Shannell, 2 1/2" is about right. You'd need to put a spring in the
top of the cylinder for oil return as the portapowers are single direction
oil flow and then you just release a valve to allow oil to return to the
pump reservoir.
I'm sure something could be put together to make one up. They are
pretty cheap at Harbour Freight and places like that though.
