Jeff--2" air line will supply a gazillion tools, all at once. As small
as your shop is and assuming that only one or two tools will be in use
at one time, one inch in a loop should supply more than enough air.
Repeating what others have said, please DO NOT USE PVC for 100 psi air.
In summertime the heat near your ceiling/roof will make this stuff get
soft. I personally know a fellow who is an automotive machinist and his
boss made them run 3/4" pvc all around the shop, over several men's
objections. One July day, during lunch, the system came apart and if
any of that plastic had struck a person, it would not have been pretty.
The employees told the boss man that they were all out of there unless
the lines were replaced with steel.
One trip to the ER to have your eyeball de-pvc'ed might cost more than
100' of schedule 40 black iron pipe...
There is enough danger that we cannot avoid as it is. Work safe.
