That's assuming the figure was really given and given in the context
suggested.
But we also hear that from George in his post yesterday that Lou's "copies
of both bids still tally to a $6,000 higher cost for the contract change."
That seems to indicated that they could and did add the BIDS up and there
wasn't a 25k savings.... so why would someone say there would be a 25k
savings unless it was conjecture before they added it up or possible this
whole thing is taken out of context.
I could see where someone might say something like ..."if we added xxx more
pages and full color, that would cost 25k more than..." Of course I'm
purely speculating... just like the rest of this seems to be.
If the BIDS added up to 6k more, then they knew it then.... not after the
fact!
