Um... Questions about whether the minutes of a meeting contain a claim of 
$25K in savings from publication costs CAN be verified, if the minutes are 
made available. Many of the questions George asks have verifiable answers, 
unlike the no-win question such as you pose. George does go a bit further 
and provide a possible "sinister" reason for the scenario, but the fact 
remains that it should be possible to ascertain when bids were received, 
what people were told were the deadlines for submission, and whether bids 
were in fact late or not.

Um... Simple... I'll have my wife testify that I have not and do not beat 
her. Simple way to prove it.
Now if you're asking whether I THINK about beating my wife, that I cannot 
prove. (Hell, given some of the time's she's roasted me with her quick wit 
I WOULD be guilty)

Lets hear the board come forward with the minutes, and the dates they 
received bids, and the dates decisions were made, etc, etc. This won't 
prove whether there were any back-room dealings where "the fix" was done, 
but so far that doesn't seem to be what George is claiming.
