Well let me tell you even tho the PI is rather soft it is a real chore to 
resize it. I had to do that for all the chain I made for the Mastermyr job 
and I was in the process of doing that on the fire-grid before I had to 
bail out on that due to time constraints etc.
So I agree with Phlip that it would be better to get stock in as close a 
size as possible.
