If you do any amount of sandblasting build a pressure pot type. It will do a
much better job at a lower pressure than the siphon type. A tank from an air
compressor works great. It's simple to make or relatively cheap to buy. If
you do a web search on Google or other search engine you will find plans for
building them.

If you do much blasting use carbide nozzles. They cost more per piece but
last a looooong time.

Anyone got any tips on making a sand reservoir/feeder for sandblasting? I
was thinking of using a non pressurised setup to make it easier but mabey a
low pressure system might work and still be easy to make (and safe)? Whats
the best setup for the nozzle where the sand leaves the reservoir and enters
the hose going to the gun?
