I've used both and for any small operation the electrics are for
me. As far as not having as much power, some of the biggest and most
powerful lifts we used were all electric and you only charge it when
it needs it. The batteries last a really long time when you take care
of them and since you are the only user, that shouldn't be a problem.
They don't leak, smoke,( naturally anyway), need the oil checked or
changed, and a lot of electrics are walk behinds that are far more
maneuverable than a larger trucks. Your experience may vary, ;o)
