I use a stack of 3/8 washers on a bolt a little loose, double nutted. I
hold it to the wheel while its running at an angle and it makes a nice
cheap glaze breaker.
I find on thicker material allowing the blade to cool while using the glaze
breaker works well. Keep your self covered up while using the saw as the
fiberglass matrix the grinding particles are in can cause a good case of
the itches on the out side. Wear at least a dust mask to keep from
breathing the same dust and I wear a full face clear shield to guard
against sparks and small cutoffs flying around.
If your not making 90 Deg. cuts I would suspect the base is bent or warped
