I read with interest, the information on primers especially the statement that Benjamin Moore recommended rustoleum. Has anyone,( or have I missed it) used the primer made by benjamin Moore that converts iron oxide to iron silicate. I used it to created shiny rust that was able to be painted. They said it was durable for 1 year before recoating. I used it to resurface a rusting backhoe and it worked very well.
