My compressor is mounted under my large stationary work bench and is
enclosed with sound board.  Bought at Home Depot a '4'x8' sheet costs
about $7.  I think the main concern here is to not let the machine run so
long that excessive heat builds up inside the enclosure.  Sure does cut
down the noise pollution and for those that remember what I went through
just a year ago with my neighbor and the "noise" can appreciate my desire
to stop all sound from leaving my property.  Actually with the compressor
running, just outside my shop with the doors closed all I can hear is a
very faint buzz.
