Subject: [TheForge] Cheap clear finish question

Hey,

My daughter is refinishing a couple of metal chairs and table and I've
helped her wire brush the old paint off and convinced her that the beauty of
the bare steel is much greater than that of paint and want to help her spray
paint a clear finish on them. Short of going the powder coat route I'm
wondering what the best cheap easy (get my drift?) route is? I'm torn
between lacquer from a spray can or polyurethane from a spray can. The
chairs and table are for inside use. Opinions?

Thanks, Jeff Valentine
