Well, I'm not sure how to tell how much has been ground off, but if you can go by the height of the face from the table or horn, then I
could measure to see. I am mostly trying to restore the edges as the face it's self will clean up with min of grinding I think. If the
face is 3/8th's thick, then I will probably be safe assuming that I can build up the edges and corners with a steel rod.
As to the propane weed burner, I've always wanted one of those, now I have an excuse. :-)
