Hi, guys,

Just a quick note to let you characters know I'm back on line, and back on
TheForge ;-) Johan (John Husvar) should have been sending you guys my love
occasionally- been thinking of you, with getting my little coal forge up and
running.

Now, since I've moved, I'm going to ask y'all for a bit of help.

I'm in  Canterbury, Connecticutt, and last time I was on TheForge, there
seemed to
be a fairly active ABANA group up this way. Information, please?

Also, I could use good sources of supply for both coal and charcoal-
charcoal most
importantly, since I've gotten tired of screwing with coal fires, and
charcoal is
more appropriate to my reenacting.

And, while I have a reasonable amount of bar stock with me for my
immediately
intended projects,  I'll be needing a source of supply for basic hot-rolled
bar
stock, both square and round, in assorted sizes, although I won't likely
need
anything larger than 1 inch- I'm into light smithing- if I can't pitch it
through
the window when I get pissed, I likely don't need to be doing it in the
first
place ;-) Likely also some plate and sheet, too.

For those of you who don't remember me, I'm very into traditional smithing,
basic
forge anvil and hammer stuff, and am involved in SCA, which is historical
reenactment of the Middle Ages.....
