Hello. I'm new to this heat and beat stuff and am enjoying the heck out of this list. 
In reference to welders, I bought a Hobart mig 3 weeks ago on Ebay from an outfit in Maryland. B&R Welding I believe was the name . Several hundred $ cheaper than retail and no shipping charges. Check out the Buy Now banner. 
hobart was bought by Miler and that's probably as good as it gets.
