Dear "K.A. S." <[email protected]>

Every list seems to go through cycles, with some bickering, but that
doesn't usually last.

As long as we refrain from talking about political issues like those lost
or damaged packages (shipping villains like UPS or USPS or what
ever), this is an active, healthy list. Sometimes an off tangent-
thread can gets really off topic. Of course you always have the option
to read only the threads that interest you. The delete key works well on
wayward threads on any interest group list.

There are some very knowledgeable people that give of their time to help
others on the list. There is also a bit of over lap from the hot metal
list, and the knife maker's list, etc. and other lists which I found as
a result of comments made on theforge.

Enjoy the cycles of information.
