> Hey all,
> Well the downpayment arrived! There no backing out now! THEY PAID
ME!!! This is so cool.
> Is it bad taste to say how much? Heck with it.
> The down payment was $1600. (250 per lamp for ironwork/ about 4 hour a
lamp) That includes half the cost of the lamps, the glass installers fees,
the painting (powder coat) fees and the estimate from Quicksilver Delivery.
>
> Now question for your experienced types...I told them half down and
half on delivery. If the building contractor is handling the payments but I
am supposed to deliver them to the architect, would it be crass of me to ask
the architect to have a check from the contractor in hand when I drop them
off or should I have a contractor send me the final check and deliver the
lamps after that check arrives arrives?
