Bob-

I haven't done this myself, but as a suggestion I would say check out any
local industrial parks, or a warehouse area in the areas your staying in.
They usually have lots of parking space available that goes unused, and if
they're already using heavy machinery the sound of you banging on your
anvil probably won't disturb anyone. Depending on the area they may even
have a gated area that would provide you with a little more security if you
leave your trailer there.

I am envisioning that the trailer would not be an open trailer under
traveling or parked circumstances, although it might be constructed to open
up for working. Otherwise it would be enclosed and lockable to protect your
tools and other equipment.
