Thanks for the info on the Taps.

How do you size the rod for a certain die to make a bolt?  I must be missing
somethin (Know you can't believe it) here as all the Tap and Die charts I
can find on the web or in my books actually say nothing about dies, just
what size drills to use for taps.  I've been able to make a bolt by just
sort of picking a die that seems to work on a rod from my pile of round
stock,but seem to remember that its very specific what size rod is used with
each die.

Any help appreciated.
