    Just got off the phone with my pipefitter buddy, he said NO...
Just Plain NO...

   He thinks it would stand just fine until one day when it just plain
broke off at some point.  He doesn't think the pipe is good for
"swaying in the wind". It is brittle at some point in a bend and just
breaks.

   To make his point he said to go into any industrial operation and
see how often pipe like that is supported in use, and there's little
or no motion there.

So... ignore my first post...I'm siding with Larry.
