[TheForge] Shameless Self Promotion / Smoke Shelf Irony

The December Irony has a newly designed Side Draft Coal Forge courtesy
of Tony of Junkyard fame.  He shows a very simple fabricated smoke box,
a low-loss stack cap and a couple of pages of carefully stated physics
about why a Smoke Shelf is not required.  Also in this issue is Dimitri
Gerakaris' forge featured in his1979 Anvil's Ring article, along with
the forge of Robert Bourdon in Vermont that was his inspiration.  I also
have 5 pages of drawings of a concrete forge base that might be of
interest to some.  I am impressed with Tony's design and am going to
