Steve;

   I haven't seen the plans for the valve, so I'm shooting in the
dark, BUT, a brake master cylinder certainly produces higher pressures
than this using "rubber" cups.   Of course they are Buna N or neoprene
or something better than rubber but they hold up under a lot of
pressure in a medium that does not compress.  Seems like the same set
up if kept properly oiled would work,  pressure on the back side of
the cup would bleed through.       I think... Anyone?
