[TheForge] anvil stand

I just picked up a 216 pound anvil at a great price. The stamping says
"Foster" with the date of 1842. Top is very flat with no chips on the edges.
It came with no stand and I am curious about what folks are using for bases.
My main anvil is on a tree stump but is a little high and trying to cut a 24
inch stump to the proper height is a tad difficult with the normal radial
arm saw. I have seen anvils on 4x4's or 6x6's banded together with steel
strapping.

What other possibilities are there? What do people recommend? The floor of
my shop is concrete. I'm told if I set an anvil on a stump on the same
location, the floor will eventually crack. True? False? Any solutions?
