Three students from different working backgrounds were
working on getting a degree. They were all in the same psychology
class and the topic was emotional extremes.=20

"Just to establish some parameters, " said the professor
to the student who worked as a computer operator, "What is the
opposite of joy?"=20

"Sadness," said the student.

"And the opposite of depression?" he asked of the young
lady who worked as a teacher's aide.=20

"Elation," she said.=20

"And you sir," he said to the young man who worked as a farrier,=20
"How about the opposite of woe?"=20

The farrier replied, "Sir, I believe that would be giddy up."
