With the buzz box welders make sure that you are using AC rods, 6011, 6013,
7014 and a few others. Look for small packs of rod in hardware stores or
Lowes or Home Depot and try some fresh rods. Don't frustrate your self by
trying to use the wrong rod with a bad coating to learn. Look at the
information on the packages as to amperage, AC or DC and position
