On the subject of shop safety-
My high school jewelry teacher, bless his soul, was very strict about two
things in class: long hair, and those sweatshirts with the strings hanging=

out of the hood=2E=20
He told every class about the lovely girl who had leaned over the buffer
and touched it with her ponytail=2E She not only lost a large chunk of her=

long hair, but got one hell of a black eye (no broken bones, for some
reason=2E=2E=2E) when her face slammed against the buffer=2E
Watch those sweatshirts, everybody!
