Unfortunately, you better read the policy yourself and if you don't understand it, have someone else read it.  We asked our agent if a particular thing was covered under our policy and he said "oh sure".  Well, a year or so later we had to make a claim and the insurance company (not the agent) declared that it was not covered under our policy.  It was an expensive lesson.
