'Course, being of liberal bent (meaning, I don't judge a book by its =
cover, like so many folks out there do) I tend to see things a bit =
differently. Remember that on popular vote, Gore WON the election. It's =
only because of the way things are counted up that he lost. =20
Meanwhile, don't start throwing the "dead vote" at me. The transgressions =
I see have more to do with off-duty white police officers guarding the =
polls from blacks in the urban NJ area, this in the year the democratic =
gubinatorial candidate lost by 2% of the vote. A lot of people were =
defranchized in the last presidential election too. Guess who. Why don't =
we just bring back poll tax and be "honest" about it?
Meanwhile, you can rely on the fact that we have the best politicians in =
Washington that Oil money can buy.
You know the definition of an honest Texas politician, don't you: Once =
bought he stays bought!

Here, Here!! Care to run in the next election?
You are completely right. The demographics from the last election
show that the "conservative majority" are too busy to vote. Gore
nearly won by taking the metropolitan areas, while G. carried 80% of
the counties nation wide. What do you suppose would happen if just 10
more conservatives per county would vote?
And while we are on it, by what stretch of the imagination is it,
that we are not "shut down" as a country for 8 hours on an election
day, so no one has anything else to do? Keep people busy and vote for
dead people and let drunks vote in numerous precincts... sounds
familiar...
