Shannel, sorry sloppy reading. you did say hollow bar.

I'm sure their are a lot of refinements and improvements to be made. It is fun to play with. The last one I did, was on a tangent and I used the refractory as the flare maybe not as smooooth, cause I overpoured the refract and had to chip some out. But I am still pleased with the performance of the forge.  The advantage to the refrac flare should be longer life inside the burner. High temp ceramic rings inserted into the refrac would be smoother, and..........

I wonder if  we hit a point of no return for improvements made. 

Like the carburator attachements in the 70's if you put one device on your carb, Propane forge that claimed 30% fuel saving and a fifferent device that saved 25% etc....... Soon you would have to siphon gas from the tank. LOL

I Propane forge theory has come a long way from the earlier homemade versions. Thankyou Ron Reil and others......
