Dan,

Uvex makes a a "stick on" (not pernament, you can move from one safety pair
of glasses to another) lens that runs about $20.00.  I have used them and
they are good.  They start at a 2.0 and go to a 5.0.  Your local welding
shop should be able to order them for you.

Another company makes them also, but I don't have that information but can
find it if you need it.
