For an individual there is no advantage, but for Ma Tech, we were paying 
right at 100 k per year in demurrage.  So, they instituted a cylinder 
tracking system and track each cylinder by serial number.  Several of the 
vendors now have 6 digit (actually 3 letters and 3 numbers) stickers on 
them to help in this effort.  So, now instead of 100 k per year, we pay an 
individual a salary for a lot less, and we have unfunded work done by 
others (such as myself) to keep track.  The bean counters love it.  To the 
rest of us, it's a pain.......<G>
