[TheForge] Burner "flares"?

It must be, I tried 2 flares yesterday, one at 1:24 and 1 at 1:12 tapers and
the 1:24 was way too rich, the flame was very green, blowing down the tube a
little made the flame go blue, so what someone here said makes sense that
the taper really helps the induction of air, the 1:12 was much better, I
might try a much longer taper next, Im wondering where the point of
diminshing returns is on flare length.
