[TheForge] Of anvils, and buying them...

Yeah, hoarding may be a bit over the top, but you know
what I mean. Some guy in your group will have one to
spare if you can show that you are not going to make a
coffee table out of it. A friend of mine who is just
starting out smithing went to someone's house recently
and noticed that they had two (yeah that's right) 2
swage block that they were using as legs for their
glass coffee tables. He tried to persuade them the he
could make some realy nice replacements, but they
would not budge. No self respecting smith would sell
anvils for coffee tables, but if you are a serious
student, there is always someone who willhelp you out.

Just put the word out, and any opportunity you have to
rescue an anvil from "retirement", do it. Who knows
you may end up being "the guy" everyone goes to later.
