Gabriel

Where are you located?

Hook up with you local blacksmith chapter, group, club
and find the guy who hoards anvils and other tools.
There usually is at least one. If you are serious
about smithing, you can get one from him.

Check out EBay. They sell about half a dozen anvils a
week. A bit high priced and the freight will kill you,
but they have pictures and you can get a sense of what
is selling for what.

Network, network, network! I have three anvils and tow
of them came from asking everyone I knew if they had
any idea where to get one. One of them came from a
co-worker who knew someone who collected tools. The
other came from a friend of my parents who I met at my
mother's 75th birthday.

Keep your ear to the ground and you can get good
deals.
