Peter, thanks for your input. I like your suggestions and like you said,
you'll end up having to do them. Well, at least do a little research on
how an idea would work then submit your idea to the "Membership
Services Committee", (as quoted from the ABANA web site)

I haven't heard of that kind of insurance, but it sure sounds interesting.
You'll have to ask Brian Gilbert about it, but I don't think that anyone
will ever get paid for writing. Who determines the value? What about
copyright issues? etc.... and it's not in the budget. I like the idea of
having more events out west (did you go to Flagstaff?) and the board
meeting was in Seattle last November. I think that ABANA only has
one big event every other year, we (ABANA) needs a proposal from
someone willing to host a conference out west.
