The TurboCAD 2D is verson 6.5, it is a free download from the makers. It does all the drawing formats that I need, and is a small enough program that it will run on my P75 with win95. The last time I used cad we had a superfast 386 with 8 megs of ram (we never thought that we could use all that power). Anyway it was dos based, I have never used a cad program that is Windows based, I thought it would be easier. If it was a good program I would buy it, but with no info on how it works. I think I will pass. I see that there is a verson of AutoCAD Lite (not the right name, but by AutoDESK that I will look into.
In case I'm not on here in the next few days, A MERRY CHRISTMAS! to all.
Daryl
P.S. user stupid = not user friendly, I found TurboCad 2D v6.5 user stupid.
If TurboCAD wanted to use the free version as a marketing tool, I think they failed.
