Too late, the List Mommy caught on and fixed it.<G>

I smoked the raccoons out of the chimney for the coal box
the other day and did some light bending. All 3/4" rebar and pipe,
just making stands, brackets, hangers, etc. for around the house &
shop. And stands for the plywood snowmen. I'll put up a pic of
those once we get some snow, just for amusement.<G>

I tried a couple of different ways to make "screws" out of
rebar for tiedown stakes. Simplest was to wrap it tight around a
2" pipe, then reheat the whole thing and give a steady pull. I
drilled the pipe with through holes 1/2" by 2" apart spacing,
hammered some rebar in and wrapped the rest using those as spacing
guides. Worked out much "better" in terms of esthetics, but they
really don't screw into the ground any different.

Anyone got a third way that works? Pain in the neck
pulling the pins to slide off the finished "screw".
