GM Ray,
I wanted to test the 6JB6 finals in my Drake (Hickok 539A). I ended up making my own adaptor using a compactron socket I got off Ebay. You just use a tube manual for the particular tube information then cross reference that to the individual switches and bias in the TV-7 manual. The drawback is of course the adaptor is only for one tube type. This may not be what your looking for but I wanted to let you know what I ended up going with.
Good luck Ray, the TV7 is a really nice tube tester.

I have a very nice updated TV-7U tube tester designed by Hickok. It
works fine.
I would like to utilize a loaned Hickok CA-5 tube adapter in order to
compare some Compactron tubes. However, I've been unable to find any
CA-5 operating info on how or if, the CA-5 can work with the TV-7U.
Is there anyone with experience in this that might have the tester
settings and tube data for the CA-5/TV-7 combo?
The TV-7U likely is similar to some Hickok commercial tube tester, but
have been unable to locate which one, if possible.
Anyone able to offer some useful comments on this?
Your attention is appreciated.
