Thanks for the update Barry. I won't be in the market for meters any longer.
Always liked the 410B and C meters for the accuracy of the high level RF AC measurements.
Now use the 8568B with an HP 8447D in front of it with a 2pf probe for low level non-disruptive measurements. Good view of the frequency domain and gain measurements.
Never did look at the Hickok instruments, probably should have, the 209A looks interesting but I’m an HP and Tektronix junky. Have to admit with a tear that over the last few years have found some Asian instruments far in a way better than western production.

Regarding the meter, I should have said "it is not damped as well". It may be damped a bit, but the difference is quite apparent in use.
