[Test-Equipment] HP-VTVM

While the ME-26 is electrically virtually the same, the meter movement is not nearly as "nice" as the HP models.  It is not damped and is not as large as the HP.  I like the probe on the HP much better as well.  If memory serves, the ME-26 uses a EA-52 in the probe (as opposed to the EA-53 or 2-01C).  Electrically the same, but the build of the HP probe is nicer in my opinion.
