[Test-Equipment] test equipment 'black hole' (attempt at humor)

Hi. I collect test equipment (along with ham radios). Over the years, I have seen some good deals on eBay, eHam, etc.

However. I often wonder where all the test equipment 'accessories' go....

For example, how many Tek 24XX series scopes do you see offered with the front cover? Was it an accessory?
Same thing goes for manuals, probes, anything.... They must get vacuumed up by a black hole somewhere.......
