[Test-Equipment] probe question

My 1985 catalog shows the P6057 as a 50 ohm 100x divider probe.

DC to 1.4 GHz.

Note by 50 ohm they mean for 50 ohm plugs ins 
such as the 7A24 500 MHz dual trace amp.
it states input Z as 500 ohms at DC and 1500 ohms at 1 gig.
