[Test-Equipment] probe question

It may well not need a ground wire or the ground wire may be missing. It
is a probe for the 7xxx series scopes, and the ground wires for those
probes are detachable.
Is there a narrow gap in the probe body somewhere between the cable entry
point age the area covered by the slip-on tip? If so, that's where the
ground would go. The GND wires have a "U" clip to attach to the probe
body.
