Yeah, I can't think of where I'd need to test to 50KV for my own ham use
either.  But RG-8 type coax ought to be good to 5KV, and some of the
larger lines used in microwave and EME stations might need over 10KV.
I've rarely used the 5KV range on my Simpson 260, but I'm glad it's
there :=).
