I had a number of such occurrences, both incoming and outgoing. You, 
sir, are essentially S.O.L. because you can't fight their bureaucracy. 
They will pass the buck until you find yourself going around in circles.

Next time use FedEx; cheaper, faster, and (as a rule) MUCH safer.
