Hi,

I would start by testing a rectifier tube (known good, if available).

If that shows weak, then you should check your panel meter.
Assuming the contacts are clean on the selector switches,
that's about the only failure mode.

Isolate the meter and attach a 9V battery with a 47K resistor
 in series. That should give you about 190uA on the 200uA FS meter.
