I sold my GR-1001A a couple of years ago. Kind of wish I hadn't...
As fas as finding the original set screw marks, this was a case where the
round clamp (the one with the 4 x #6-32 flat-head screws) sandwich the dial
plate to the hub so there are no marks to align with.
Thanks for the help. I need to check the tubes, but it seems to work pretty
well so far so haven't gotten into any real trouble-shooting.
