[Test-Equipment] bolometer

I think bolometers were used in older signal generators, they are similar to thermistors, please correct me if I'm wrong. One instrument that used them was the ts-497b

   From the quick description involving cryogenics, I doubt that either 
  you or I would have much use for them.

  Uncle Sam certainly would have had use for things dealing with 
  cryogenics.  There is a fair amount of liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, 
  and others that Uncle dealt with across about all the services.

  I know we had a trailer that would suck in air, and then through 
  compression and refrigeration, break out the different gases on site.
