Hi Dave,

The message archive was made members only to deter spambots from
harvesting email addresses by going through the message files.

Group members do have the option of selecting "No Messages" or "Daily
Digest" which means that you can read the messages at will by just going
to the Group Home Page and signing in (or accepting a permanent
YahooGroups Cookie).

Nothing will satisfy everybody, but this is a fair compromise, IMO.
